Power generation demands a broad spectrum of knowledge. No two machines are exactly alike. Our team is constantly evolving with technology yet, within their skill set, they have retained the knowledge to troubleshoot and rebuild generators. Working together, every machine is attended to in collaboration.

Whether we are building a setup for our customer’s specific needs or installing a new Cummins generator, our team is proficient at commissioning the installation of power generation machines. Our engineers specialize in synchronizing generators so that your generator works as intended, seamlessly linking to your home or business applications.

As part of our team, we have a specialist in Recreational Vehicle generators who can solve malfunctions and perform routine maintenance, to prevent your RV generator from becoming a nuisance and prolong longevity.

BA Power employs several professionals in British Columbia and we regularly deploy in Alberta. We also regularly contract gasfitters for installation and repairs to natural gas fueled generator sets.

Our Shop and Fleet

BA Power & Machinery’s service area ranges across all of British Columbia and Alberta. Our headquarters is located in Lake Country, BC, between Kelowna and Vernon. It’s a large shop with stations for specific repairs, expertly equipped with tools and machines for any type of repair, forklifts, a bay door, perfect for recreational vehicles to pull in for RV generator servicing and 2 overhead cranes. Our shop work stations include: a machining area, rebuild area, electrical – clean area, fabrication and welding area, testing area and a painting area.

We currently have a shop being set up in Edmonton, Alberta.

Our mobilizing fleet has several stocked trucks as well as a crane truck, ready to go 24 hours a day to attend to any emergency or routine preventative maintenance servicing. We also have a fully equipped service truck stationed in Alberta.

Meet The Founder

Sean Kennedy is the owner of BA Power & Machinery Ltd. and Kennedy Holdings Ltd. Sean’s expertise began as a Marine Engineer, working on boats and power plants. He then ran an excavating company. Sean has worked exclusively with generator sets for well over a decade. He is committed to minimizing the downtime associated with equipment failures for his customers by providing comprehensive preventative maintenance and expedient turnaround time for diagnostics and repair.
